He was predeceased by : his parents, George B. McLellan and Zeola McLellan Walker; his wife Janice; his daughter Mary Delores; and his grandson Zachary Tredway.

He is survived by : his children, Cynthia Tredway of Houston, TX, George R. McLellan, Jr. (Melissa) of Long Beach, MS., Gregory McLellan (Paula) of Pensacola, FL. and Gary McLellan; and his grandchildren, Allison Tredway, Hannah Tredway, Molly Rudisill (Spencer), George R. McLellan, III and Sarah McLellan.
