She was predeceased by: her husband Louie J. Brunson; and her siblings, Evelyn Anderson Fowler and John Franklin Anderson, Jr. (Gladys). She is survived by: her children, Mona Brunson, Richard Brunson, Michael Brunson and Donna Lehneis; her grandchildren, Brandon Brunson, Heather Bradshaw and Sheena Akridge; her great grandchildren, Sirus Brunson, Collier Bradshaw, Zachary Akridge and Chase Akridge; and her sister Nancy Stearns. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and loving friends.
