He was predeceased by: his father Clinton Holmes; his son Jeremy Holmes; and his sister Marsha Gail Joiner. He is survived by: his wife Ruby Holmes; his mother Betty Jean Holmes; his son Clint Holmes; his daughters-in-law, Kathaleen Holmes and Becky Holmes; his sisters, Teresa Holmes Madron (Joey Alvarez) and Cynthia Adams; and his grandchildren, Cody Holmes, Jessie Holmes, Marissa Holmes, Laurie Holmes and Mariyah Nall.
