She was predeceased by: her parents, Sidney Onyx Newman, Sr. and Marjorie Doyle Newman; her husband Roger Otstot; her son John Otstot; and her daughter-in-law Alison Otstot.
She is survived by: her children, Charles Otstot (Suzanne), Kathy Abernethy, Ann Davis (Steve) and Bill Otstot; and her brothers, Sidney Newman (Sandy) and Harry Newman (Ruth). She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and their spouses, nine great-grandchildren, and six very special nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Paul's Christian Church designated for the Outreach Endowment Fund, 3331 Blue Ridge Rd, Raleigh, NC 27612.
