She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Carlton Whittington and Vivian Marie Vaughn Whittington; and her brother Charles. She is survived by: her husband Raphael Christian; her children, Jack Woods (Mary Ellen) and Melody Tau (David); her sister Brenda Whittington Taylor (Steve); her sibling's children, Stephanie and Steve; her grandchildren, Nathan Woods (Lauren), Allie Woods, Kathryn Woods and Olivia Tau; and her great grandchildren, Brier Woods, Aurora Woods and Luna Woods.
