In the vast expanse of eternity, Royal shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Royal farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He is survived by: his wife Melinda Anne Rathbun; and his sons, Royal III, Alan and David. He is also survived by nine grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Oak Lawn Funeral Home (619 N New Warrington Rd, Pensacola, FL 32506).
