She was predeceased by: her husband Polk, Sr.; her parents, Julian Edward McMillan, Sr. and Edwina McMillan; and her brother Julian Edward "Eddie" McMillan, Jr.. She is survived by: her sons, Dennis Mitchell Carlisle of St. Petersburg and David Allen Carlisle (Amanda) of Alachua, Florida; her brother Ronald Edwin McMillan of Dover, Florida; and her grandchildren, Grace Madison, David Mason and Audrey Jane Carlisle.
