He was predeceased by: his father Earnest, Sr.; his stepfather Guy Cowley; and his mother Ann Cowley. He is survived by: his sons, Reagan Montgomery (Ashley) of Tennessee and Carter Bush; his wife Brenda (Bush); and his siblings, Jean Abel (James), Diane Chapman, Carol St. Charles, Carrie Armstrong (John), Benny (Marsha) and Richard (Marcia). He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
