She is survived by: her children, George Gerdts (Karol), Robert Gerdts, Mary Ellen Gerdts, Valentina Hughes (Perry), John Gerdts (Andrea) and Paul Gerdts (Melinda); her daughter-in-law Elizabeth Gerdts (Charles); and her stepson Douglas D Gerdts. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
