He was predeceased by: his former wife Jean; his son Mark; his parents, Otto and Signe; and his siblings, Otto Jr., William (Bill), Oscar, Paul, Walter, Donald, Aillie, Helmi, Hannah, Helen and Lempi.
He is survived by: his son John Eskuri (Deb); his grandsons, Matthew and Ryan; his wife Ruth Eskuri; and his stepchildren, Steve, Scott and Suzanne Whiting.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church (2565 Tamiami Trl, Port Charlotte, FL 33952). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 20th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Fort Snelling National Cemetery (7601 34th Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55450).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Fred's memory to a local veterans' organization or animal rescue of your choice.
