He was predeceased by: his sisters, Robin Parkinson and Rose Murray; his brother-in-law Donald Murray; and his parents, Robert Gonynor, and Elizabeth Gonynor, Sr. (Duggan).
He is survived by: his children, Amy Leggett of Milton, WV, Matthew Gonynor of Whitinsville, Seth Gonynor (Julie) of Whitinsville and Robert M. Gonynor of Auburn; his siblings, Donald Gonynor (Leah) of Wells, ME, Stephen Gonynor (Nancy) of Douglas, Rebecca Peters (Peter) of West Palm, FL, Veronica Lachapelle (Robert) of Wickford, RI, Lori Gniadek (Jeff) of Douglas and Elizabeth Lachapelle (Paul) of Whitinsville; his grandchildren, Justin Leggett, Hayley Leggett, Tyler Gonynor, Nicholas Gonynor and Jordan Gonynor; and his great grandchildren, Chandler and Dean Leggett. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
