He is survived by: his wife Nora Pitt Blankenship of New Port Richey; his daughter Catherine; his son-in-law Jared Frattini M. D. of New Port Richey; his son Michael; his daughter-in-law Makiesha Dickson of Louisburg, NC; his son Richard Dickson; his son-in-law Tyler Lawnichak; his granddaughters, Ashley, Sarah and Alexis (Ricky); and his great grandchild Caleb. He is also survived by his six grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to HPH Hospice or to the American Cancer Society.
