She was predeceased by: her parents, Markos Zerefos and Maria Moshou Zerefos; her husband Kosta "Gus" N. Kontos; and her brothers, George, Steve and Nick Zerefos of Ohio.

She is survived by: her daughters, Stacey Kontos of Florida, Elaine Kontos of Florida and Nikki Kontos of Florida. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
