She was predeceased by: her husband Vassilios; and her siblings, Andy Nick and Kathey. She is survived by: her children, Stavroula (Loula), Liborio Portera (Leo), Pauline Roussos (Paula) and Michael John Roussos (Marylou Roussos); her grandchildren, Francesco Portera (Frankie), William Roussos (Billy), Maria McCurdie, Julia Roussos, Michael Roussos (Mikey) and Anthony Roussos; her great grandchildren, Mila McCurdie, Shae McCurdie and Kha'mya Roussos; and her siblings, John, Jimmy, Tony Gianitsis, Mary-Ann Barous and Debbie Sverkos.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital in Sophia's name.
