He was predeceased by: his parents, Jewell Apperson and Anna L. Cruse Apperson; and his brother Otis Apperson of Melber, KY.. He is survived by: his wife Mardel "Mardy" Herrell Apperson; his pet Morgan; and his sisters, Peggy Hobbs (Bob), Marilyn Jackson, Virginia Calabrese and Katie Glisson (Richard).
