It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alf Lawrence Carlson of Port Saint Lucie, Florida, who passed away on June 11, 2025, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Doris Elsa Carlson. He is survived by: his son Lawrence David Carlson; his daughter-in-law Melanie Deardorff Carlson of Lititz; his daughter Sandra Linn Carlson of Port St; his grandsons-in-law, Meredith, Scott Bailey (Marisa) of Lititz, PA, Alex Ruehle (Mindy) of Denver, CO and Zach Blake of Colorado Springs, CO; and his great grandchildren, Nora, Luke, Gavin, Rae and Micah. He is also survived by three granddaughters.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Ardie R. Copas State Veterans' Nursing Home, 13000 SW Tradition Pkwy, Port St. Lucie, Florida 34987, in gratitude for the care and honor shown to Lawrence in his final days.
