It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles A Clugston of Port Saint Lucie, Florida, who passed away on June 25, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Armour Clugston, Sr. and Marie Clugston (Shelleman); his wife Hilda Yvonne Clugston (Mummert); and his brother David Gearhart Clugston. He is survived by: his significant other Della Zumbrum Wilson; his children, Charles David Clugston (Kathryn) of Falling Waters, WV and Julie Anne Fiery (Doug) of Hagerstown, MD; his grandchildren, Mark Steven Murphy of Falling Waters, WV, Mandy Fiery Auwaerter (Alec) of Hagerstown, MD and Andrew Taylor Fiery (Brianna) of Sparrows Point, MD; his sister Anna Lee Ireland of Hagerstown, MD; and his close friend Della. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home (1331 Eastern Blvd N, Hagerstown, MD 21742). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
