It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Elliott L. Goldson (Port Saint Lucie, Florida), who passed away on December 8, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Goldson, Sr. and Juanita Beckham Goldson; and his brothers, Henry Goldson Jr. and David Goldson. He is survived by: his wife Christie Briggs-Goldson; his sons, Jason Goldson (Regina) of Memphis and Brockington Maxwell Briggs of Columbus, Ohio; his grandchildren, Titus Detric Goldson of Tampa, Nehemiah Dean Goldson, Magdalene Lea Goldson, Lazarus Elliott Goldson of Memphis and Boston Rene Maxwell Briggs of Alliance, Ohio.; his sisters, Claudette Warner of Locust Grove, Georgia and Lois Moore of Fairmont; and his friends, Stanley Brown and Maurice Nunn. He is also survived by his sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many special friends.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 17th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Grace Baptist Church of St. Lucie (1750 SE Lennard Rd, Port St. Lucie, FL 34952).
