It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Helen Serio of Port Saint Lucie, Florida, who passed away on July 3, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her grandson Andrew Cassesse; her parents, Eleanor Kulka and Michael Kulka; and her siblings, Michael, Joseph, Stephen and Dorothy.

She is survived by : her husband Salvatore Michael Serio; her children, Susan Serio Snyder, Donna Serio Lapi, Dr. Victoria Swanson and Michael Serio; her grandchildren, Christopher Snyder, Alyssa Snyder Blackshear, Jason Snyder, Brianna Cassesse, Steven Cassesse and Sierra Swanson; her great grandchildren, Kaitlyn Snyder, Jayden Blackshear and Jaiyana Blackshear; her son-in-law Jack Snyder; her grandchildren-in-law, Jarvis Blackshear and Nicole Snyder; her friends, Jenette, Charles Borg, Linda Pennisi and Elly Mirello; her sister Deborah McLellen; and also, Danielle, Michael Visconte, Vincent Catalano, Stephanie Catalano Rubilio (Michael Rubilio), Mark Gammon, Gretchen Hall and Rachel Marcus.
