It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joan Louise Eddy of Port Saint Lucie, Florida, who passed away on July 21, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John and Sarah; and her sisters, Betty McCarthy and Helen Senno (Andy). She is survived by: her husband Don; her children, Jamie, Janine and John (Michele); her grandchildren, Hannah, Jake, Courtney (Art), Michael (Elizabeth), Alex, Kathryn (Kyle), Jack (Juliet) and Matthew; and her great grandchildren, Lawson, Morley and Michael. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cargain Funeral Homes Inc. - Carmel (10 Fowler Ave, Carmel Hamlet, NY 10512). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. James the Apostle Church (14 Gleneida Ave, Carmel Hamlet, NY 10512).
Joan's contributions to her family, her church, and her community were immeasurable, and her presence will be deeply missed.
