He is survived by: his wife Shirley Bauman Michals; his children, Melanie Morgan (Greg), Jay Michals (Martha), Julie Schutzler (Jeff) and Jennifer Roberts; and his pet Coco. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, many other family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to St. Bernadette Church, the Port St. Lucie Humane Society or Dogs and Cats Forever, in Fort Pierce, Florida.
