John Peter Scuteri Obituary
John Scuteri, carpenter, fisherman, hunter, father, grandfather, and great grandfather passed away peacefully late in the evening on Thursday, July 31st.
John was born in Argentina to Marie and John Scuteri. As one of six siblings, he grew up in Brooklyn, New York. He married his late wife, Juliana Ramos "Julie", and they moved to Baldwin, New York where they raised their only daughter, Georgina "Gigi".
After Julie's passing in 2019, John relocated to Port St. Lucie, Florida to live near Gigi and her husband, Ken Bowman. There he met Charmaine Kimball, his friend for six years.
John was a union carpenter serving in Local 45, Queens, New York. His passions included carpentry, boating, fishing, hunting, coin collecting and photography to name a few. When he relocated to Florida to be closer to his daughter, his priority was a garage that could fit all his woodworking tools.
John is survived by his daughter, Gigi Bowman, his son-in-law, Ken Bowman, his sibling, Julius Scuteri, his granddaughters, Julianne Licari (Matthew Licari) and Theresa Spohrer (Seth Sloan), and his four great grandchildren: Aidan and Nathan Licari and Jesse and Makenzie Sloan.
