She was predeceased by: her parents, William Martinson and Francis Wells (Stiklestad); her husband Robert "Skip" Burke; her daughter Rhonda McMillon Hilivko; her stepfather Clayton "Pappy" Wells; and her brothers, Royce Martinson and Alan Martinson.
She is survived by: her daughter Valerie McMillon Orr (Joseph); her stepchildren, Paula McDermott (Chris), Jeffery Burke (Laura), Brian Burke (Donna) and Neil Burke; and her siblings, Judy Hanson (Richard), Iola Gronhoy and Roger Martinson (Nancy). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Shiner's Hospital, or Wounded Warriors Project.
