In loving memory of Margaret Green of Port Saint Lucie, Florida, born in Donalsonville, Georgia, who departed this world on August 2, 2025 at the age of 83. In the sacred silence of farewell, Margaret is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Margaret's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Leonard and Lottie Mae Leonard; and her brother Joe Lee Brown. She is survived by: her children, Libby Mathis, Margaret Toupe (Robert) of Locust Grove, GA and Duane Brown; her stepson Billy Hunter of Stuart, FL; her pet Honey; and her brothers, Willie Leonard (Pauline) and Lewis Leonard (Wylene) of Stuart, FL. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and a host of other loving family members and friends, including nieces, nephews, and a dear friend.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Stuart Church of Christ (1071 SE 10th St, Stuart, FL 34996). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
