He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen Walter Aardsma and Clara Verbeke; and his siblings, Walter, Mary, Jacob, Dottie, Paul, Clara and Ruth.
He is survived by: his wife Edith Aardsma; and his children, Pam, Pat and Philip. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
