She was predeceased by: her husband Peter Sorensen; her parents, Nelson Hineman and Catherine Hineman; her brother Robert; and her aunt Betty Jewell.
She is survived by: her children, Niles (Doreen) of Harrisburg, NC, Nelsen (Linda) of Springboro, IN, Shawnita (Steve) of Syracuse, IN and Christian (Tammy) of Brookston, IN. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, and sixteen great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Spring Creek Cemetery (101 W 4th St, Brookston, IN 47923).
