He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Henry Whitten Jr. and Shirley Mae Pappas; his sister Candace Margaret Whitten; and his brothers-in-law, Wayne Latos and Thomas Allis.

He is survived by: his wife Tara Marie Whitten; his daughter Tania Mejia (Raul) of Boston, MA; his siblings, Brian Whitten (Laura), Debbie Lynn Allis and Brenda Lee Whitten; his sisters-in-law, Marla Crane and Moira Latos; and his mother-in-law Georgette Hill.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Haisley Funeral Home (2041 SW Bayshore Blvd, Port St. Lucie, FL 34984).

Donations can be made in his name to the Wounded Warrior Project.
