He is survived by: his children, James Payton (Vivian) of Mine Hill, NJ and Theresa Dulin (Robert); his granddaughters, Elena Payton of Madison, NJ and Amy Payton of Parsippany, NJ; his sister Margaret Spiegel of Austin, TX; and his close friend Beverly Ward. He is also survived by several nephews and nieces.
