It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melvin E. Volz of Punta Gorda, Florida, who passed away on February 15, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father William Karl; his former wife Eleanor; his sons, Mark W. Volz and Jeffrey C. Volz; his granddaughter Mandy Volz; his brother-in-law Elinore "Pic" Lesman (Dale); and his brothers, William K. Volz Jr. (Bernice) and Richard M. "Dick" Volz (Iva).
He is survived by: his wife Linda Luchynsky of Punta Gorda, Florida; his son Christopher Volz (Pamela) of Hanover Park, Illinois; his grandson Daniel C. Volz; his great grandchild Christian; his grandson Michael Z. Volz (Kelly); his great grandchildren, Ryan, Emily and Gavin; and his stepchildren, Darlene Luchynsky, Tammy Oleson (Jay), Paul Luchynsky (Melissa) and Brian Luchynsky. He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
