It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phyllis Jean Hancock Hays of Punta Gorda, Florida, who passed away on October 17, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Milburn Hancock and Mary Catherine Hancock; and her parents-in-law, Clifford and Mildred Lapham. She is survived by: her husband Jack Hays; her daughter Jene' Marts (Tom) of Punta Gorda, FL; her granddaughters, Katie Morgan (Zach) of Moulton, IA and Haley Marts of Punta Gorda, FL; her great grandchildren, Zoie Morgan, Mia Morgan and Jack Marts; and her stepsisters, Norma Clements and Sandra Sharp.
