It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Raymond D. Hoekstra of Punta Gorda, Florida, who passed away on January 19, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Hoekstra and Kate Hoekstra; his wife Beatrice; and his brother Neil. He is survived by: his children, Beverly Gish (Craig), Raymond Hoekstra Jr. (Sandra) and Donald Hoekstra; and his sisters, Ellen Kooyenga, Ceil Fennema, Kay Yunker and Joan VanBeveren. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren.
