It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard E. Bacon Jr. of Punta Gorda, Florida, who passed away on January 25, 2022, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Linda Bacon (Hand); his parents, Richard, Sr. Bacon and Maxine Bacon; and his siblings, James Bacon, Linda Bacon-Kendall and Kathleen Chapman.
He is survived by: his children, Regena Gruber (Michael) of South Bend, IN and Richard T. Bacon of Plymouth, IN; his grandchildren, Victoria Subkow (Aaron), Justin Gruber, Sparrow Bacon and Adelaide Bacon; his great grandchild Isabelle Subkow; and his siblings, John Bacon, Sr. (Roxene) of Summerville, SC, William Bacon of Jackson, MI, Margaret Johnston (Darrell) of Stafford, VA, Janet Bacon-Dixon of Saranac, MI, Jerry Bacon and Larry Bacon of Christiansburg, VA. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
