It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley McCormick of Punta Gorda, Florida, born in Ewen, Michigan, who passed away on December 16, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Liisa McCormick (Fernando Gonzalez) of New York City and Jonathan McCormick (Beth) of Punta Gorda, Florida.; her husband John Patrick "Pat" McCormick; her brother Robert; her parents, Gertrude Otilia Swinson (Tyyska) and Harold Aaron Swinson; her grandchildren, Nadxielli Gonzalez, Leon Gonzalez, Antonio Gonzalez, Martin McCormick (Yuezhen Niu), Andrew McCormick and Thomas McCormick; and her cousin Roger Tyyska (Sharon) of Goodrich, Michigan.. She was also cherished by her friends, her two children.
