It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas M. Schubauer of Punta Gorda, Florida, who passed away on January 6, 2022, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Schubauer and Betty Schubauer; and his brother Ken Schubauer. He is survived by: his children, Melissa Pettit (Joshua), Heather Schubauer, Michelle Gatz (Colby), Matthew Schubauer (Lisa) and David Schubauer (Joelle); his siblings, Frank Schubauer (Carol), Don Schubauer (Charles Fritz) and Sue Courtney (Terry); and his grandchildren, Jacob, Avry, Zachary, Addison, Mason, McKenzie and Charlotte.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Thomas's name to the Charlotte County Homeless Coalition.
