He was predeceased by : his parents, Jose and Maria; and his siblings, Francisco, Eleazar, Adolfo and Elvira.

He is survived by : his wife Juana; his children, Amancio Gaytan Jr., Adolfo Gaytan, Wendy Gaytan (Orlando Rivera) and Karina Gaytan (Gustavo Moreno); and his grandchildren, Perla, Amancio III (Giovanni), Lisette, Abbygayle, Adolfo Jr., Aiden, Destiny, Sean, Isabella, Andrew and Moses.
