He was predeceased by: his sister Eugenia "Genia" Carole Asher; and his grandparents, Alna, Dexter Tackett, Carl and Marie Melton.
He is survived by: his parents, Torreon "Shorty" and Geraldine "Gerrie" Tackett (Melton); his children, Matthew Carl Barker, Wren Ann and Claire Jaye Tackett; and his siblings, Jeffrey Carter Asher and Kim Asher Beekman (Willard). He is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
