He was predeceased by: his parents, William Roberts and Florence Roberts of Florida; his half-brother Robert Alton; and his sister-in-law Joan Alton of Connecticut. He is survived by: his sibling's children, Charles Alton, Jeffrey Alton, Thomas Alton, Pamela VanSoest of Connecticut and Judith Simpson of Connecticut; his close friends, Ramona and Richard Clyde; and also Bryan Clyde.
