It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Barton (Saint Cloud, Florida), born in Lexington, North Carolina, who passed away on December 10, 2019, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James D. Barton and Miheepa Jones (Harb); his brothers, Tim Jones and Wilburn Jones; his wife Brenda Barton (Banks); his children, Phillip Barton of Denver, Erick Barton (Tonya) of Cameron, NC, Marc Barton (Julissa) of Kissimmee, FL and Anna Walker (Stan) of Kissimmee, FL; his sister Josephine Clodfelter (Darryl) of Lexington, NC; and his grandchildren, Kirsten Walker, Jacob Walker, Brian Walker, Andrew Barton, Zack Short, Bryanna Cardenas and Evan Cardenas.
