It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John A. Niswonger (Saint Cloud, Florida), who passed away on February 14, 2019, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Omer Niswonger and May Margaret Niswonger (Grieb); his son Joel Niswonger; and his siblings, Paul, Omer, Jr., Lester, Chester, Paula and Mary.
He is survived by: his daughters, Darlene Curran (Tom) of Dale City, VA, Joan Durham (Ken Welch) of St. Cloud, FL and Janie Kohler (late Roger) of St. Cloud; his stepchildren, Tina Barnes (late Jerry, Sr.), Charles Best (Karla) of Rockledge, FL and Ray Best (Lynna) of St. Cloud; and his sister Dorothy Mecum of Cape Girardeau, MO. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren.
The family suggests that memorial donations be made to Cornerstone Hospice, Osceola County.
