She was predeceased by: her parents, George Washington and Beatrice Damron Sparks; her husband James Robert Deskins; and her siblings, Douglas, Virginia, Anne and Nora.

She is survived by: her children, Robert Deskins of St. Cloud, David Deskins (Holly) of Ponte Vedra, Scott Deskins of Palmetto, Florida and Judith Kinner (Robert) of St. Cloud, Florida; and her siblings, Joe, Jimmy, Raymond, Ben, Beulah, Nancy and Mildred. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
