He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Ellen Goldberg Barson; his sister Sheila Barson Gitlitz; his daughter Jill Garcia (John Young) of Pittsburgh, PA; his grandchildren, Kassidy, Jared, Karli and Betsy Purtell (Thomas) of Cheshire, CT; his great grandchildren, Hannah, Emma and Thomas Jr. Dave; his brother Jerry Barson of Daytona Beach, FL.; and his parents, Helen Krall and Sam Barson.
