She was predeceased by : her parents, Winifred Veva and Robert Franklin Carr; her husband Frank B. Mullen, Jr.; and her siblings, Delores Oliver (John), Arlona Tait (Jim) and Robert Carr (Maryetta).

She is survived by : her grandson James Scott of St. Petersburg, Florida; and her sister-in-law Margaret (David McCollough) of Houston. She is also survived by six nieces and four nephews.
