With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eugene J. Bauerlein Jr. (Saint Petersburg, Florida), who passed away on April 4, 2024 at the age of 97. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Eugene J. Bauerlein Jr. to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his wife Jacquline Hinkle Bauerlein; and his sister Betty Thomas. He is survived by : his children, Elizabeth (Justin Johnson), Brenda (Tim Kalal), E. Joseph III (Nancy) and Charles. He is also survived by his four children, eight grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

A graveside service was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Woodlawn Memorial Gardens (101 58th St N, St. Petersburg, FL 33707).

Over the years, he made significant contributions to the field, working for various local engineering firmsbefore establishing his own firm, E. J. Bauerlein, Consulting Engineer, in St. Petersburg in 1969.
