He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret (Peggy). He is survived by: his children, Gerard Cain, Jeanne Kulka, Cathy Ryan, Michael Cain and Julia Truono; his grandchildren, Christopher, Allison, Marisha, Jennifer, Carolann, Kerry, Danny, Katie, Taylor, Kyle, Samantha, Melissa and Joe; and his great grandchildren, Wiley, Olivia, Harper, Avery, Connal, Jack, Holly, Carter and Mateo.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Donohue Cecere Funeral Directors (290 Post Ave, Westbury, NY 11590). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Brigid's R. C. Church (85 Post Ave, Westbury, NY 11590).
