He is survived by : his wife Ella Tookes; his children, Harvie Tookes Jr. (Faith), James Tookes, Jenethel Tookes, Johnnie Louise Tookes, Lillie Bruton (Johnny) and Lashawn Tookes; his brother Herbert Tookes (Sharon); his granddaughters, Lakelia Tookes and April Bruton; and his great grandchild Declan Bruton.
