He is survived by: his daughter Brittany Hopson Montgomery (Michael Montgomery); his granddaughter Lenora "Lenny" Jean Montgomery; his son Bradley Joseph Hopson (Stephanie Hopson); his grandson Alexander Jett Hopson; his child Lauryn Rebecca Hopson; and his siblings, Thomas Richard Hopson Jr. (Susan Hopson), Steven Michael Hopson, Kathleen Ann Williams (Ken Williams), Daniel Allen Hopson (Tracy Hopson) and David Brian Hopson (Lisa Hopson).
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 17th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Woodstock Funeral Home, Inc. (8855 Main St, Woodstock, GA 30188). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, January 17th 2026 at 1:00 PM. A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, January 22nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Seminole Lake Country Club (6100 Augusta Blvd, Seminole, FL 33777).
