She was predeceased by: her parents, Emanuel and Helen of Gomar; her husband Adrian Brown; her sister Carmelita Cottle; and her grandson Tanner Brown.

She is survived by: her children, Tab (Karen), Karen Marinari (Chris) and Alison Woodson (Dean); her grandchildren, Stephen, Trace, Jennell, Kariana Brown, Chris, Jr. (Kim), Michael (Nicole), Matthew Marinari, Lyndsey, Chance and Meagan Woodson; her great grandchildren, Mario, Giovanni Marinari, Liam Simoneit, Jonah Rossetti, William and Faye Staats; and her sister Dolores Maddox.

In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in Margarita's name to one of the following: Missionaries of Africa, c/o Father Jean Robitaille, 5757 7th Avenue North.
