She was predeceased by: her parents, Beulah May and William Jefferson Nichols; her husband Roy G. Sonn; and her siblings, Ivo Emory, Cleo Hatch, Luther Nichols and Delma Booth.
She is survived by: her children, Stephanie Sonn Anderson (Wayne) of St Petersburg and Roy Gregory Sonn of Palm Springs, CA; and her grandchildren, Ryan Marr (Christine), Dustin Marr (Kristin) and Hayden Anderson (Antonella). She is also survived by six great grandchildren.
