He was predeceased by : his parents, Norton Harrell and Myrtle Page Harrell; his wife Faye Harrell; and his siblings, Tommy Dugger and Louise Langston.
He is survived by : his children, Charles N. Harrell Jr. (Debra) and Lafaye Harrell; and his sisters, Sara Dyer and Jeannie Causseaux. He is also survived by five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
