We are sad to announce that on October 2, 2025, at the age of 92, Vivian A Chaplin of Sanford, Florida, born in Maywood, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her husband James W. Chaplin; her children, Richard Mittelhauser of Palm Bay, Florida, Robert Mittelhauser of Old Saybrook, Connecticut, Denise Sakkestad of Manalapan, Glen Mittelhauser of Goldsboro, Maryland and James Lee Chaplin of Fort White, Florida; and her grandchildren, Kyle, Erika, Brianna, Angelina, Celeste, Popin, Samantha, Stacey and Stephance.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Deltona Memorial Funeral Home (1295 Saxon Blvd, Orange City, FL 32763). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at the Riverview Cemetery.
